My name is Matthew Hoobin, and I'm a filmmaker, writer, illustrator, and video editor, as well as a graduate of the Academy of Entertainment Arts at Dixie M. Hollins High School in St. Petersburg, Florida. I am currently enrolled at St. Petersburg College.

 

My skills include:​

• videography and photography using Canon DSLR cameras

• video editing in Adobe Premiere Pro

• image manipulation in Adobe Photoshop

• acting in short films

• traditional storyboarding

• social media management (Facebook / Instagram / Twitter)

 

     In June 2017, I began working as an intern for the Pinellas Education Foundation, a non-profit organization in Pinellas County, Florida. I was promoted to part-time status as Media Coordinator, a position that I currently hold. I film and edit videos for them, take photographs at events, and am responsible for the PowerPoint presentation that displays in the lobby of the organization's building.​
